WHEN: OPENING NIGHT FEBRUARY 7TH (work is up for 2 weeks after)

WHAT: SUBMIT 5 OR MORE MINIATURES  BY JANUARY 25TH

COMMISION: 30% (The space is rented out for 2 weeks ~ the commission helps with this cost as well as marketing).

SAVING SOME TIME: You have MANY years of work to crop and make wonderful little miniatures out of! This is a great way to make some more income from your collection of work.

DO I NEED TO MAKE NEW WORK?: You don't have to because YOU are a SHADOWOOD VETERAN! We are confident you have work on your computer that would be FANTASTIC...

BUT...

WE WOULD LOVE SOME NEW WORK! So buy all means, craft something together if you have time.

We do have 1 request...

CREATE 1 NEW PIECE THAT IS HEAD TURNING AND GROTESQUE to go with the show title "Do we make you uneasy?". This is a chance to push yourself and do something shocking!

WHAT ARE THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MINIATURES:

Size ~ The miniatures are 3.75" x 3.75" the paper size is 6" x 6" (see graphic below).

Edition Size ~ We suggest a limited edition of 25 where there are at least 3 printed/available for the show (though we recommend having 5 for the show - they can sell quickly!). REMEMBER...If the artwork sales exceeds the number of prints available at the gallery (not exceeding the limited edition of 25), then the artists will have to present the additional sold prints to the gallery by the end of the two week duration of the show. It will be the artists responsibility to get them to the Arts Project Gallery.

THE FIRST OF THE EDITION NEEDS TO BE FRAMED VIA IKEA RIBBA FRAME. The dimensions of the print will fit perfectly into the Ikea matting.  BLACK OR WHITE ~ They are $9.99 each. If you don't have access to get them we can pick them up for you at http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/00078032/

Prints ~ They need to be giclée prints. If you don't have a printer, we can get it printed for you at $5 per print. We would need your digital files by January 20th.

PRICING ~ Opening night the miniature prints will be $5 cheaper! $35 each. After opening night, the prints are $40 and $50 framed.

IKEA FRAME ~ the 'number 1' of the edition should be framed with an IKEA RIBBA frame (they cost $10 to pick up at IKEA tax not included). You can do this on your own, or we we can do it for you for $15 (tax included).

CAN I BRING MY OLD MINIATURES? ~ YES, you are allowed to submit from your old collection of prints if you still have some lying around... again, this is a great opportunity to sell them. There will be a wall for miniatures of past shows. NOTE - ONE OF THE OLD MINIATURES MUST BE FRAMED IN A IKEA RIBBA FRAME BLACK OR WHITE

LARGE & MIDIUM SIZED PIECES!

Price them at your own discretion BUT the pricing MUST be at least $75! We do not want to undervalue our artists or their miniatures.

ALL PIECES MUST BE FRAMED OR HANGABLE (ie framed or wrapped canvas or wood canvas). Hardware must be attached to the frame.
