Our opening nights have showcased performers, arthouse film directors, fashion designers and musicians to help celebrate the dark artists that participate in the show. Here's a little taste...

Anita Kunz, was recently appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada. Her work has been published regularly in Time magazine, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, GQ, The New York Times, Sony Music, and Random House Publishing, just to name a few.

WHEN: FEBRUARY 7TH (OPENING NIGHT ~ the show is up for 2 weeks at the ARTS PROJECT in London Ontario 

WHAT:  CHOOSE HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE ~

1) ANY PART OF YOUR COLLECTION OF WORK THAT HAS A DARK/WHIMSICAL VIBE that is hangable... this could be framed sketches, etchings, giclée prints, silk screen prints, paintings or mixed media. If the work is not framed, we also will accept wood canvas pieces or canvas wrapped pieces - as long as they are ready to hang. We have invited you because we are confident that your collection of work already suits our show.

2) You can also contribute to the miniature show (though you may not have the time to do this)... click HERE for more info.

COMMISION: 30% (The space is rented out for 2 weeks ~ the commission helps with this cost as well as marketing). 

The Shadowood Collective is curated by Sarah Legault of 'The Bird Behind the Mask' & Vincent Marcone of 'My Pet Skeleton'. Together they have formed a macabre group of: visual artists, fashion designers,performers and musicians from around the world. They get together to showcase their works of art and performances in London Ontario. Since 2006 they have been presentingshows such as: Asylum (2006) Cirque de la Lune (2006), Grimm (2008), A Curious Collection of Monstrous Tinies (2010) and Stranger! (2011). These shows have showcased works by: Anita Kunz, Richard A. Kirk, Tom Taggart, Ryan Price, Sarah Legault, Vincent Marcone, James Fisher, Gary Pullin, Jeremy Hobbs, Anthony Veilleux, Tomasz Dysinski, Justin Erickson, Paige Reynolds. House of Etiquette, Denise Bauman, Nidia Martinez, Laura Mills, iwascured Human Body Suspension Group, Mark Thibideau of Obsolete Components, Timothy Glasgow, Exit 2012, DBMG/RAF and more.
