This was a part of a series of doodles called The Dead-Fish-Goblin-Circus-Gang
This intaglio print was made in 2003.
The print was created by hand etching the image onto a metallic zinc plate. The textures were crafted by using various soft ground and aquatinting techniques. I used a process known as "chine collé" to add a hand painted layer to the image.
There is currently only 1 hand stained artist proof available which is printed on a heavy poundage paper and contained within an acid free matte. A certificate of authenticity is included on the back of the print.
The piece will be packed flat and safely secured within several layers of cardboard.
