In 2021 & 2022 I have experienced people close to me taking sides and politicizing scientific concepts in the face of a pandemic that clings to us. The temptation to lash out and yell is almost delicious... an exquisite distraction from the murk of it all... I wonder though, no matter what tribe you find yourself in... would it not be better to take a look inward for a moment before attacking outward? Forget your inner child and take a good look at your inner monster... perhaps YOUR behemoth may not be helping YOU as MY leviathan may not be helping ME...
