This piece was inspired by an old myth known as "The Wild Hunt". In German folklore, it refers to the sightings of a group of ghostly hunters passing in wild pursuit. Seeing the Hunt was thought to be a warning sign of imminent catastrophe such as war of plague.
I tried to imagine what the leader of "the Wild Hunt" would look like in this piece. My minds eye placed him calling out to nature, and giving her ample warning before his celestial cohorts were about to make a dark mark on a 'civilized' world.
