Arist Statement ~> When I was a child, visits to the Italian side of my family were filled with a sense of wonder as I noticed various bits of Catholic symbology though out the homes of my relatives. Many of their houses were adorned with gold foiled religious icons, prints of saints and intricate cards featuring scenes from biblical stories. The glistening gold details captured my attention and ignited my imagination, creating a surreal and magical atmosphere that left a lasting impression on me.
Years later, those memories inspired me to create a strange pagan bunny print, blending the solemnity of tradition with a dash of whimsical symbolism.
